We are a very small organization with a big name, in fact, we have zero paid employees and we are currently 100% community funded and are always in serious need of donations. We are a 501c3 non-profit charity which means all donations are tax deductible. Make a donation to NVHS here.

Warm Full Safe 2010:
- On Christmas Eve 2010, several NVHS volunteers drove through different sections of Brevard County and picked up 46 homeless veterans and took them to the Super 8 Motel where they were scheduled to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Night but Mother Nature had other plans, and due to the frigid cold weather our homeless heroes had a warm bed for 3 more nights.
During the Christmas weekend our heroes enjoyed: 3 meals a day, participated in Karaoke and 3 card bingo. On Christmas Eve Santa Claus came by with $500.00 - $600.00 worth of "gifts", which were all supplies needed to survive in the elements such as warming pads, can openers, food, Publix gift cards, jeans, jackets, etc… for everyone, including dependents. At some time during the night Santa's elves left gift bags of cookies, popcorn and candy at the motel doors, they loved the surprise when they opened it up. When a need was identified that was not covered in our initial purchase, we immediately went out and purchased it regardless of what it was required medicine or correct size of clothing (for children and spouses for instance).
