NVHS History

After almost 20 years of hard-core veteran advocacy in the community and going in the woods to help homeless veterans in his spare time, founder George Taylor Sr. decided that more could be done for the homeless veterans that had come to trust him if he had his own organization. March 2008 NVHS was founded and received retroactive 501(c)3 status to incorporation June 2009. Since then NVHS has shown consistent growth even in these troubling times due to the outstanding community support we receive, which is fueled by the amazing reputation Mr. Taylor has earned and the exciting mission we have undertaken.
